Planning for house & pet sitting over the holidays

The Memorial Day holiday and the end of the school year have proven to be ample opportunities for vacation. I get it! You and your family have focused for months; now it’s time to break free. I got housesitting requests for Memorial Day week and weekend this year, back in January. Some people plan way ahead. Although I don’t like taking reservations that far in advance, they are guaranteed business and worth taking the risk. Considering your vacations, camping, and time away this summer, consider booking your house and pet-sitting up to 3 months in advance. I have openings in June and July, but they are filling fast. Consider what boarding costs are versus someone playing with your pets in your home. And how that piece of mind feels. The following holidays to consider are July 4 and Labor Day in September.
